Two Stabbing Incidents in Leesburg Under Investigation
Leesburg Police Investigating Stabbing Incidents
The Leesburg Police Department is currently investigating two separate stabbing incidents that occurred this week.
The first incident occurred on Tuesday night, August 3, 2010 at approximately 9:30 PM in the area of East Market Street and Plaza Street, SE. The suspect is described as a white male in his early 40’s wearing a ball cap, blue shirt, green shorts, black shoes, unshaven, stocky build, and being 6’0 to 6’2 tall. The suspect vehicle was described as an older model green mini van with a white stripe. The victim was a 15 year old male and was medivaced to Fairfax for treatment and remains hospitalized.
The second incident occurred on Thursday morning, August 5, 2010 at 6:15 AM in the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road, NE. The suspect is described as white male wearing dark blue pants, dark blue shorts, and a ball cap. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark Chevy station wagon. The victim was 67 year old male who was medivaced to Fairfax and is undergoing surgery at this time.
