Sihan Sandhu Wins World Golf Championship

Sihan Sandhu, a fifth-grader at Creighton’s Corner Elementary, won the 10-year-old division in the World Golf Championships, held August 4th-6th at the Legacy Golf Links in Pinehust, N.C.

Sihan finished 23 strokes under par, shooting a 63, 62 and 68 in the three-round tournament.  He finished 17 strokes ahead of the second-place finisher.

He set world records for lowest three-round total and margin of victory at a world championship event.
