Road Widening Project Activities I-495S South mile marker 49.0 to 49.0

On I-495 in the County of Fairfax at mile marker 49, motorists can expect potential delays in this area from 02/03/12 at 9:30 PM until 02/04/12 at 5:00 AM due to construction activities. The south right shoulder is closed.There will be a total closure of I-495 North at VA-7, Exit 47, with the first lane taken at 9:30pm and the closure in place by 11:00pm. All traffic will be diverted onto VA-7 East, Exit 47B, until 7:00am.
The left lane on the ramp from I-495 South to I-66 West, Exit 64, will be blocked. Motorists should expect total temporary closures on the ramp after midnight lasting no longer than 30 minutes as well as the ramp from I-66 East to I-495 South.
The right lane on I-66 West at I-495, Exit 64, will be blocked with total temporary closures after midnight lasting no longer than 30 minutes.
