Purcellville Police Department Crime Report 7/12/2010

• 07/12/2010   1:15 p.m.  500 blk. W. Main St     Unauthorized use of Fire Hydrant
  A person was observed taking water from a town hydrant. It was determined that the person had a Loudoun County meter that can not be used in the town water system. The meter was seized and the company will need to make restitution to the town.
• 07/14/2010   12:17 a.m.  100 blk. Hatcher Ave.   ABC Violation
  Police Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and determined that the driver and passengers had consumed alcohol and were under 21. Charges pending.
• 07/14/2010    8:46 a.m.    200 blk. Hatcher Ave.  Unauthorized use of Fire Hydrant
  Construction crew had hooked up to a town fire hydrant without authorization. The meter was seized and charges are pending.
• 07/14/2010    2:00 p.m.    100 blk. N. 16th St.   Fraud
  A citizen reported that she attempted to secure a loan from a newspaper ad and had to send money to the company. It appears that the whole matter is a scam and is under investigation.
• 07/15/2010    4:30 p.m.  500 blk. Skyline Dr.  Fire Marshall Investigation
  A caller reported that neighborhood juveniles had been making crude explosive devices with 2 liter bottles and household chemicals. The matter is under investigation by the Loudoun County Fire Marshalls Office
• 07/18/2010   2:00 a.m.  rt#7 @ rt#287      DWI
  Shelby Little John, a 26 year old female from Round Hill, was arrested for DWI and transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
