Police Investigate Assault on Harrison Street

The Leesburg Police are investigating an Aggravated Assault case that occurred on Wednesday evening, August 4, 2010 at approximately 8:00pm. The assault occurred near the intersection of Harrison Street and Catoctin Circle, SE. The male victim was walking in the area when he was accosted by two males. An altercation ensued that resulted in the victim sustaining lacerations to his to his forearm.  The 19-year old victim was transported by ambulance to the Cornwall campus of Inova hospital where he was treated and released. The two suspects have been identified and the investigation of the incident is continuing.
