  • 3/04/10 03/05/10 2200 hrs. 0730 hrs.    750 block Sugarland Run Dr. Sterling    Destruction of Property/Larceny: Unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle by damaging a front driver side window and removed a car stereo.
  • 03/05/10 0920 hrs.    Evening Star Dr./Estate View Ct. Round Hill    Suspicious Vehicle/Stolen Auto: A deputy on patrol observed a vehicle that had been stripped of most of its parts. The vehicle was registered in New York and was reported stolen.
  • 03/04/10 03/05/10 1800 hrs. 0600 hrs.    23670 block Overland Dr. Sterling    Auto Theft: Unknown subject(s) removed a trailer from a construction site.
  • 03/02/10 1700 hrs. 2300 hrs.    448600 bloc Milestone Sq. Ashburn    Larceny/Fraud/Destruction of Property: On March 3rd the complainant noticed unknown subject(s) had damaged the locking mechanism of their vehicle. It was later discovered that two credit cards were removed from a wallet inside. The credit cards were later used at two locations.
  • 03/04/10 03/05/10 1930 hrs. 1800 hrs.    20640 block Oakencroft Ct. Ashburn    Larceny: Unknown subject(s) removed a laptop, cash and miscellaneous items from a vehicle
  • 03/04/10 03/05/10 1500 hrs. 0900 hrs.    33900 block Welbourne Rd. Upperville    Larceny from a Vehicle: Unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and removed cash, identification cards, credit cards and a purse.
  • 03/05/10 03/06/10 2330 hrs. 0030 hrs.    42360 block Green Meadow Ln. Leesburg    Burglary/Larceny: Unknown subject(s) entered the garage of a residence and removed items from a vehicle including a purse, cash, a cell phone and credit cards. Some of the items were later found discarded in the area.
  • 03/06/10 0230 hrs. 0630 hrs.    Quarter Branch Rd. Lovettsville    Tampering with a Vehicle/Larceny: Unknown subject(s) entered several vehicles at addresses along Quarter Branch Road. Items removed included credit cards, a camera, MP3 player, and clothing. Two vehicles received damage during the larcenies.
  • 03/04/10  03/06/10 2000 hrs. 0645 hrs.    100 block St. Charles Sq. Sterling    Auto Theft: Unknown subject(s) removed a motorized scooter that was parked in a parking lot near the listed location.
  • 03/05/10 03/06/10 2310 hrs. 0600 hrs.    20 block Hammond Dr. Lovettsville    Larceny: Unknown subject(s) entered two vehicles at a residence. An MP3 player was removed.
  • 03/06/10 n03/07/10 2100 hrs.0800 hrs.    42250 block Big Springs Ct. Leesburg    Larceny from a Vehicle: Unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle and removed a camera and a GPS unit.
  • 03/06/10 1840 hrs.    Sterling Blvd./W. Amhurst Pl. Sterling    Pedestrian Struck: A 69-year-old male in an Invacare motorized wheelchair was attempting to cross Sterling Boulevard from the east side of East Amhurst Place to West Amhurst Place when he was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle, a 2001 Honda driven, was by a 59-year-old man from Manassas, VA. The victim was airlifted to INOVA Fairfax Hospital. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening. The victim was crossing the roadway in an unlit area where there was no crosswalk. Alcohol was not a factor.
  • 03/06/1 1930 hrs. 2300 hrs.    46300 block Southward Ter. Sterling    Burglary: Unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed a laptop, jewelry and cash. There were no signs of forced entry.
  • 03/06/10 1000 hrs. 1015 hrs.    20 blockSydnor St. Hamilton    Burglary/Larceny: Unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed two cordless drills.  A window was damaged to gain entry.
  • 03/03/10  03/07/10 0000 hrs.2359 hrs,    38290 blockNixon Rd. Purcellville    Auto Theft: Unknown subject(s) entered a barn and removed a zero turn mower and two ATV’s
  • 03/07/10 2250 hrs. 2300 hrs.    320 block E. Maple Ave. Sterling    Auto Theft: Unknown subject(s) removed a 2007 black Ford Fusion that was parked along the roadway. A purse, jewelry and an antique firearm were in the vehicle at the time of the theft.
