Leesburg Police Arrest Three in Gang Related Investigation

On April 27, 2010, The Leesburg Police Department, assisted by members of The Northern Virginia Gang Task Force executed three search warrants and made three arrests in follow-up of a malicious wounding incident on April 26, 2010.

All three search warrants were executed in Leesburg.  One adult and two juveniles were charged with Malicious Wounding by Mob and Prohibited Street Gang Participation.

The charges are a result of Leesburg Police responding on April 26, 2010 at approximately 6:00 pm to a fight in progress near Battlefield Parkway NE in Leesburg.  Subsequently, police investigation led to the identity and apprehension of three subjects suspected of participating in gang related activity.
