Driveway Accident Sends Victim to Hospital

A Great Falls man struck his father in the driveway of his home Thursday morning at approx. 10:00AM. Twenty-seven year old, Dustin H. Lawhorne was driving a a 2005 Ford F-250 pick-up truck when he pulled into the driveway of his home at the cul-de-sac of Oakbrook Court. A box truck that was legally parked near the entrance to the driveway in the cul-de-sac that blocked the view of both the driver and the pedestrian.

The father was airlifted to INOVA Fairfax Hospital. As of Thursday evening he was listed in guarded condition.
