Forced Entry Into Home In Ashburn, VA
A domestic situation where a known subject forced his way into a home and assaulted two of the residents led to a search for the suspect in the Ashburn, VA area Monday night.
Ralphael A. Bennett, 21, of no fixed address, allegedly attempted to enter a residence in the 42490 block of Magellan Square in Ashburn, VA around 6:21 p.m. on March 1, 2010. Bennett is accused of forcing his way into the home and assaulting two occupants. He then damaged a vehicle outside.
One of the victim’s inside the home said that Bennett had left the home but said he was returning and allegedly threatened to further assault occupants of the home. A perimeter was established and aerial support was provided by the Fairfax County Police Department helicopter. Bennett was located in the area of Regal Wood Drive. A second subject, who was possibly returning to the home with Bennett, was identified but not charged in the incident.
Bennett was charged with two counts of assault, destruction of property and breaking and entering. He remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
