D.C. Driver charged with DWI in Leesburg After Attempt to Elude

Loudoun County Police pulled over a vehicle on River Creek Parkway for a traffic violation early Thursday morning. During the course of the traffic stop the driver pulled away from the scene and attempted to elude ht e officer. The driver left annd was pursued in excess of the posted speed of 35 miles an hour and eventually stopped his vehicle at the intersection of  Edwards Ferry Road and Battlefield Parkway. The driver, Duane L. Brown of Washington D.C. was charged with felony eluding and DWI.
