Ashburn Eighth Graders Bring Pot Laced Food to School

Loudoun County Public School personnel contacted a  Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer Thursday evening after being alerted to a possible narcotics violation that occurred  Wednesday morning at Farmwell Station Middle School in Ashburn.

School officials reported that several students had mixed marijuana and food earlier in the week and on Thursday brought the item to school. A total of 8 students, three girls and five boys, all eighth graders, allegedly consumed the item during the morning of January 25, 2012.

As of Friday morning, the matter will  be investigated by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer Unit.
